My father grew up in the war as a child was doing this in his ordinary days ♡ my toys were the off cut pieces from it. Good to see, thank you!

Nice video! The repair could save me some day (wood gets more expensive every day). But you might use a little more glue and a bigger chissel :-p

Hi
A lot of faff, why not use another bit of timber and save that bit for a smaller job?
Time is money plus you are weakening by cutting this way ?
In my opinion🤔

Handy! But I would use a little less glue, it only spils.

I wish you had listed the tools used for each bit.

Cutting out the piece that is chipped...I would prefer a silicone mold on a good piece and then wood bondo, then sand.

Yea try far less glue. You should have only needed a finger to maybe swipe a drop not a paper towel.

I watched only a few clips and I think i would rather buy another 2x4 instead of doing all that work for a little damage or use wood filler and sand it down. As for the clip after, just run screws into the 2 boards and counter sink them in and fill the screw heads with wood filler instead of damaging the wood just for cosmetic purposes. I stopped watching after the first few clips. There is way too much waste of energy and time in the first few for me to comment on every clip.
