Let's run down some of the similarities that run through most of these Pakistan and Indian manufacturing videos. Some basics. Littered dirt floor working areas. Granted, some processes you need a dirt floor, but not ALL of them. No hardhats, no safety glasses, no proper work boots, loose baggy clothing (can get caught in machinery), few welding helmets, and so on just to name a few. An almost obligatory "throw the product in the dirt or on the floor or let it pile up under the machine" methodology! In one video, the machine produced the part or product which piled up on the floor. Then a guy comes over, shovels up the product into a container and carries it to another machine. Why not let the machine dump the part or product into the container? Of course the guy shoveling was probably the cousin of a cousin of an uncle who needed that 75 cents and hour! Then there are the food ware products made from recycled plastic. One was recycled plastic made into dinner plates! Won't see me eating off 'em! The point here is that Pakistan and India are deeply class stratified and/or just plain poor. to the point that people there will do anything any way the "boss" wants to get some food in their bowl. Take a look at manufacturing videos from Japan, Korea, Vietnam or China. Clean well organized factories with concrete flooring. Well maintained machinery. Workers in proper clothing and safety gear. A real contrast to these videos.
