I know that this song is about being on tour but I like to imagine a lonesome overworked trucker. Thank you to all the truckers that keep our supply chain moving. One of the most important and underappreciated professions.

Love the hauntingly lonely sound of the sax 🎷. 100 years from now, this song will never get old

The opening sax gives me noir detective vibes.

I see everyone from years ago saying how old they are but I'm 16 and I wish this type of music still was around. I grew up with this music and I will gladly pass away with it.

Bob Segar is a generational song. An album I have enjoyed listening to with my Father (78), and my son (31), I'm (54). Every man hearing this song immediately has an image in his mind of a time in his life where he feels this applies in their own way.

i sang this song at 7 years old at my friends dad's funeral. It was the first time in my life that i got a standing ovation for my singing. I just made everybody forget where they were for a short time and they loved and needed it.

Gives me head-to-toe goosebumps EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

The sax solos, the raw emotion, the lyrics (especially "You pretend it doesn't bother you/but you just want to explode")... BEYOND

BOB SEGAR, one of the greatest musicians of all times in my book..Ramblin Man from the Vietnam Era, all that rock in roll was the best..I know every generation probably thinks theirs was the best, but I KNOW mine was.... ;) love that sax...
