If they don’t know the one time password, hit the “Password is incorrect or missing” option and ask for the last four of their phone number, that will work, but it has to be the phone number that’s on the account.

The worst policy Amazon has made, it's inconsiderate to the fact people work and can't be everywhere at once. I've had my package sent and re-sent for a week haveing me try and catch it in time but always missing it... AWFUL. So many variables that inconvenients the delivery men and the customer. If they keep this policy OR you can't turn it off I'm not buying from Amazon anymore.

You have to go to the customer and ask them for the password at here In San Francisco California I do the old the time or ask for the las 2 number from the cellphone

Apparently this is a new feature and only currently happens less than 1% of the time. Strange that the customer didn’t seem to know anything about it. 🤔

This literally happened to me twice already. I literally left a note for the drivers that I won’t be home and to just leave my packages on my porch. No one’s gonna steal my shit but they didn’t even do as instructed to. I seriously lost my damn patience.

P.s. I even did a one day delivery and at this point it’s three fucking day delivery.

I just missed out on my package because of the stupid this OTP. They emailed me my OTP. Then I get another email telling me I missed out on my package because I didn’t share my OTP With the delivery driver I’m not sure how to share it with them. It’s not like they came to my door and asked for it or anything like I assumed they would

I ordered a portable monitor from Amazon and this is the first time I ever got a one-time password. This is way too much, Amazon. Could you give us the signature option instead and everyone will be fine!

Hey there, just a question for you as a Amazon driver, are the customers suppose to give you the one-time password over the phone? Recently got texted by a driver and the amazon app clearly says to verbally give them the password when they are at the front door or whatever. I just want to know if it was right of me to not send any sensitive information over the phone.

Today they haven’t delivered my package there was a tablet around 100 dollars due to that I was not home and didn’t have password 😮🤯🤬
