The Foot Change - An Excerpt from the Toeside to Heelside Gybe - Kitesurfing Tips

This is an excerpt taken from the Carving Turns: Toeside to Heelside video, which is part of the Progression Kitesurfing: Carving Turns Collection.

The toeside to heelside carve is great practice for moving our feet around on the board whilst learning how our kite aids in these movements. It's also the foundation for the more powered version which then leads you into backside wave riding.

Been using these videos since ever as by the time only CDs were available. In fact the product is great and learned a lot. Very helpful.

Recently got into kitesurfing after years of twin tip riding. To my surprise I found this maneuver quite hard. Challenging and humiliating.

did I get it right? At 0:25 he's slightly carving upwind to do the foot change and then (not shown) he goes back downwind, change direction and finds himself back in heelside stance, correct?

Sry misleading title - didn’t see a single gybe and not even a complete foot switch. All stopped halfwas through. I have the very good cd, s for twintip but this is very disappointing.
