Who is your favourite NPC/Traveller in Breath of The Wild? 🤔👀

Brigo also says “now climb down off that ledge. And don’t climb that way, climb THIS way.”

The NPCs are one of the more underrated aspects of Breath of the Wild, I think. People dismiss them because there aren't many elaborate quests or detailed schedules like Majora's Mask, but it's really impressive how many unique characters with their own names and lines there are considering how many more NPCs there are in this game in comparison to all the previous Zelda titles. They all feel like they have their own lives and interests, too, and even after playing the game for hundreds of hours I've still learned about new lines I didn't know certain NPCs had.

i really like Spinch and his horse (also named Spinch). he doesn’t have any interesting purpose and he only appears randomly along paths, but he has some pretty fun lines

I certainly can't prove it, but I've long liked to believe Hino is actually a Yiga in disguise. Granted, usually when one of these incognito assassins chats with Link, they drop their disguise, and attempt to cut the Hero down, but maybe this one is either too deep a mole to be allowed to assault him, himself, or he's just unable to recognize his quarry; maybe he's been there even longer, being eyes and ears, and didn't get the memo, or maybe he's just a different kind of Yjga dumb. As followers of Ganon, and worshipers of his might, it might make sense for the Yiga to understand what the Blood Moon means, and to better coordinate their own efforts around when certain monsters will respawn, as it's likely in-world that the Bokos, Lizals, Moblins, and Guardians are unaware to spare THESE humans their wrath. Predicting when the moon will happen, and even reveling in the stirring of Ganon's power, seems like something the arcane Yiga might be into, and maybe he's just too verbally in clumsy to conceal his zeal, though others around him haven't seemed to feel a need to drive him off, so maybe they don't realize, or are too scared. Having a permanent spy on the road to where Link might travel also helps, since SOMEONE has to tell them he's active, and there aren't any Yiga on the Plateau, I don't think.

Something someone told me that I never noticed is that as long as you're riding the lord of the mountain skeleton enemies won't spawn, it's like he's a walking safe zone

I also ran into a couple looking for a Silent Princess, risking their lives in the process. They were usually in trouble when I met them. I tried giving them the flower but they didn't react, sadly.

🤔

Brigo seems to be a person that talked someone down from suicide...

I actually enjoy these types of videos the most. Big crazy theories are cool, but spending time to look at tiny details in the world and characters are so fun for me personally. I absolutely love it ^^

I'm not by my switch so I'm not completely sure... and I don't want to go get it... but if I remember correctly, Uma has dialog if you take the spoon on the right. I think... haha
Either way thanks for a great video! =) I agree with putting both of them as number 1

First time I saw Brigo, I was so surprised to see another person alive, I hid from him for five minutes (hours?) before realizing he wasn't a danger.

Hearing about Robin Williams and Satoru Iwata gives me goosebumps, It is very kind of Nintendo to put tributes for each of them into this game in a tasteful way

When I found The Terrible Cook I thought it would be a mini quest to help her discover the perfect patrons for her recipes, the Gorons. If they continue her plot line, I hope this is the direction they take.

I enjoyed this video. I hope you consider more NPC bios as we wait for BOTW2.

If I remember right, Birgo was theorized to also be inspired by a real person- I think his name is Kevin Briggs? The Guardian of Golden Gate Bridge, who also stops people from jumping off that bridge. I was a bit surprised that wasn't brought up when you mentioned Brigo.

9:08 I’d mention on my behalf that Mina looks shockingly “normal” for a BOTW NPC, almost beautiful, like a human. I remember that on my old save that was unfortunately lost one of my most cherished photos was one of her laid back against a ruined wall in the sunset.
