The book didn't feature the "Modern Zombie", they were basically the "Classic" ones, except Max Brooks didn't have smart zombies like Romero did.

While the book was a collection of survivor stories, the book was more focused on our human failings and our stubbornness/ or willing ignorance to change than it was on the zombie itself, with humanity finally succeeding to win the Zombie War when they finally accepted to change themselves after great losses.

A TV series would have been better.

The movie is based on a book, my english prof had us read this for some reason. Not the worst reading material for a college class... I have high hopes, Marc Forster is a decent director.

i saw this trailer when i went to see breaking dawn part 2. wow, the trailer alone was so intense. seeing those ppl gather like insects, the zombies i mean. it was insane to watch the trailer alone. cant wait to see the movie
