New wildfire near Dutch Flat in Placer County prompts evacuations

Firefighters are battling a new wildfire in rural Placer County on Tuesday, this one near the Dutch Flat area.

While I was fighting fire in 92 during the Cleveland Complex, 3 arson fires were set outside the control lines. All were set in habitats designated for Spotted Owl habitats. All old growth stands were harvested as "salvage logging" within a year of burning. The trees could never be a timber sale, otherwise, because of the Endangered Species Act for Spotted Owls.

Headline should state, “human caused fire” unlike the mosquito fire which was PG&E again.

Time to ban cigarettes. City people drop there Cigarettes 🚬 out of there cars. They are so use to there city life. I had a friend that did this. I had to keep telling him NO. He told me sorry it’s a habit.
