I caught my first shiny magicarp (my second ever shiny) on 1st September 2021 after school way back to home.
I was happy but I wasn’t expecting 98% shiny magicarp and now it’s my best buddy and has max mega level and almost maxed out

I missed the event for them and I have over 1500 candy. I've also had the same Magikarp as my buddy since 2016 or 2017. I've never changed it and still haven't evolved it. 😢
