Homeless man says he unknowingly drove Legacy shooting suspect to Gresham

Jay Freedman said when his friend, Reggie Jackson, asked for a ride Saturday, he said yes, not realizing Jackson was the suspect in a fatal shooting that morning.

No good deed goes unpunished. I was homeless for awhile in San Francisco and Miami. One thing I learned is the other people are not your friend. Stay away from them and keep yourself away from the drama.

I wish the police or the community would rally some support for this man and give him a new van . Not brand new but one that runs/drives and is livable like what he had. The whole thing is a nightmare and very tragic.

Why did the cops destroy the van? It didn't further their investigation. A search warrant or any search is not a license to destroy.
