I love how Jesus knew that Gaius actually cares about Matthew and his well being. He knew that Gaius was starting to believe. That is why he asked about talking to him later in that tone of voice he used. 😊

Before Gaius admitted to being fond of Matthew, I always thought he loved Matthew like a son. Even Jesus is happy to know gaius cares for Matthew. Gaius is the only roman I like on the show and I already feel he's finna have a redemption

I really hope the theory about Gaius being the centurion whose servant Jesus heals is true. I like Gaius a lot and how much he looks out for Matthew.

One of the things I like about Gaius and Matthew was when Matthew spoke about how his father hated him, even Gaius couldn't fathom how a father could hate his own son. Gaius was, like most Romans at the time, very antisemitic and even he felt for Matthew.

Wait! What about the part when Gaius talks to Matthew's parents and stops himself short from telling them he admired Matthew? I really enjoyed that part. Gaius and Matthew's relationship was more comedic even though it's supposed to be dramatic.
Also thanks for the little "thoughts" sub-titles! They were hilarious!
