"I am not scare of being vulnerable. I do not see it as a weakness anymore" that is definitely a sentence I have needed to hear these days and I will start it from now.

One of my favorite writers. Her books are such a gift as are her personal stories. Thanks TED Talks for this presentation.

That last was some genius wit! Presented with an absolutely inappropriate question, Allende diffused the super awkward situation by playing along and making a hilarious joke! Well done!

Nice. She says: "It's great to let go... I should have started doing it sooner." Great advice. I know the older I get the less important are the things that upset me the most in the past. Say "yes" to whatever comes our way. Life. Nice.

I don't get all these hateful comments against her speech. She's a woman who regardless of her status, has suffered a lot in her life, and she is still positive and trying to share that with people.

She's also a very important latin american author, and that's what authors do, they share their stories.

Such a refreshing way of seeing life. She speaks so casually that I can't truly pin her a certain age.

She's ageless, that she is.

I really liked her books when I was younger, they still are among my favourite. She seems like someone who always sees beauty and magic in the simplest of things

Have the haters who posted awful comments actually read "any" of Isabel, s books or seen earlier ott inspiring videos ? She is an inspiring, passionate woman who has given so much of herself ! How many of you judgmental ageists have met the people she has ?

Once she said that line from that poem (one if my favorites by the way) I haven't stopped smiling at this tedtalk.
