Very sound and experienced advise despite the ironic comments here! Alijn Danau and many other big fish anglers have used the same approach for decades namely do your research and get timing and spots right and put the effort in and you will catch the big ones.
Also baiting strategies with bigger boilies select the big fish. It has been done countless times here by very experienced carp anglers.
Not many people really follow this or have the dedication or time to wait it out.

Basically use a hinge with loads of boilies and fish a swim that’s done the biggun before

Of cause 80% of all your big fish come to that rig as you said it’s your main rig, if you used something else the 80% would be on a different rig 😜
