As a Yankees fan, I've tried really hard to hate the Mets, but...I can't. If the Mets win, I just shake my head, but I can't say anything bad.

Yankees spent $280M and .565 this season. Consider Judge would be return in August, they could under .500 in final. O's just spend $66M and 3rd best team in MLB.

Credit due to the Mets. Personally I saw 2 difficult fly balls hit towards Yankees RF now yes difficult but definitely able to be caught. Either he was having an off game of he really needs to practice more on catching over the shoulder towards Right/Center. I cannot recall the RF for the Angles and he struggled with the same angle but they strategically positioned him to where more plays towards his front left. Very disappointing 😞

Fun fact Nimmo was 100% safe at 2nd everyone in the stadium knew it even the Yankee fans were shocked to hear he was out after the replay.

Just goes to show that the Yankees are not as good a team as their record indicates. They've lost alot of 1 run games recently.

Pieces in the bullpen showing cracks, over achieving guys like Bauers(who we need for offense) exposed on defense. Can't play mistake free playoff caliber baseball. Failed the small ball test in the 8th, 9th and 10th innings. Judge and Bader returning might fix a few things but when 2-5 hitters are something like 2-20, that's a big hole in the lineup.

Game 69: Great starts by former Astro teammates Cole and Verlander both had stellar starts but our bullpen could not hold the lead. IKF stealing home was a pleasant surprise

What was Bauers doing playing so shallow on that last fly ball...? Over your head is game over, he's not gonna tag from 2nd to home on a caught fly ball deep by the wall. Horrible positioning.
