Rise | The Oxford Belles (Gabrielle A Capella Cover)

This group of singers last sang together in 2004 as the only all-female a Capella group in Oxford University at the time, The Oxford Belles. Although many of us have stayed in touch in small clusters over the years, for some of us it was the first time seeing each other again since leaving university.

Amidst all of the fear, sadness and uncertainty during the current coronavirus pandemic, we decided to reconnect virtually to sing together once again.

This song, “Rise” by Gabrielle, and arranged by Alice Whiteley for The Oxford Belles, was originally recorded on our album “Rearranged” in 2003.
