Some remarks need to be made: direction of i2 on "Polarity" slide is wrong. It even contradicts the definition.
The equality of the sum of MMFs to zero over a closed magnetic circuit means there is no magnetic voltage drop ( HL integral). So, this is of course not "expected" but close to be true because of small HL.
