LEGO continues to release more art sets and with each art set comes imrovements. The Great Wave is a perfect example of that. With a famous art piece changed from wood block to Lego, we can admire the main focus of this set without much distraction.  transformed into a three-dimensional set, I am left in awe with how Lego has brought The Great Wave to life, utilizing different parts to make The Great Wave flourish in action. The canvas and frame brighten the room while allowing the art to continue to be the main focus.  Compared to the likes of Starry Night, both being amazing LEGO art sets, we can tell what LEGO has learned from making three dimensional art, and it shows very well with The Great Wave. This set is not one to miss out on.

I will add that if anyone wants to hang this up, do so on a wall that doesn't get any sunlight year-round in order to prevent the white pieces turning yellow over time.

The original wave piece is my all time favourite art work and so when I saw it was now being released as a Lego set i was so tempted to buy it, and thanks to this review I ended up getting it and I’m so happy with it, so I just wanted to say thank you for making such a great review

I like this new version of the art series. Previous ones were more daimond painting with Lego instead of fake daimonds. This little 3d makes it just that different what the line needed.

I loved this build but it is also the only set I had missing pieces. It feels solid and you would think the dots would be redundant but they were not and went fast. About 4.5 hours to build

I’m sure this would have been hard to fix or solve, but I don’t really like how the white boarder pieces have the injection molding ting right in the center of each piece. The light hits it in just a way to show all these circles in the surface.

but those huge tiles with white circle in the center... they are too visible and make the frame look cheap. Anyway I'm going to buy it, just maybe won't use the frame or I'll try to rebuild it
