Now obviously this isn’t a super accurate & definitive experiment, since the panel types and sizes are different, but these are just my thoughts from years of playing on high refresh rates.

minecraft doesnt really need that much attention, so if frames get shown faster and earlier it isnt really that big of a difference in matters of gameplay

as someone who plays mostly aim duels in fast paced games on a 360hz monitor, 240hz hampers my ability to read and predict enemy movements. Lower refresh rates bring more false positives, where i overpredict and overadjust, because i think the opponent was gonna make a move but really he was only making a stutterstep to bait me or it was a slight hiccup in his internet connection. 360hz is much more reliable in that but the difference is really only a few % and in actual comp games its negligible because youd be able to read people based on the situation forcing their intentions anyways

My next upgrade will be to an OLED 360hz 0.03ms 1440p. Whenever i see a good deal on one of these pricy monitors! I game on 1080p 240hz and 1440p 165hz(both 24")

Just turn on vsync so your gpu doesnt render more than 360 fps, cus the gpu is working extra hard for no reason

1000 fps is completely unnecessary and the difference between that and the refresh rate of your monitor cannot be felt. 1000 fps is just causing your gpu to work way harder than it needs to which can lead to higher temperatures and a shorter lifespan of the card

Playing minecraft at 60hz with unlimited fps enabled is pretty optimal already, increasing hz for minecraft is entirely for comfort and visual experience
