I planted two oaks in the front yard 25 years ago. They're freaking HUGE now. As you know, oaks don't grow fast, but these two are massive. I think they feel the love.

When my son started cub scouts and in the ensuing years we planted many trees fir the Arbor’s Foundation. And I have planted some here and there since. A good foundation. God Bless.

A worthy cause indeed Shawn.👍 Like you, our area(NW Highlands of Scotland) is rather well off for trees but other parts of the country have been badly deforested. The Caledonian Forest is pretty much world famous and, at one time, covered a good chunk of Scotland.
I have rescued quite a few "baby trees" and replanted them over the years. They have an odd habit of sprouting between the rails on our local railways. They manage to put down roots into the granite ballast but wouldn't last long as they start to grow. I've moved quite a few to safer locations - not a big deal but, like everything else, if we all did a


I hope this initiative reaches its goal.

Over the time I've been watching your channel I've come to appreciate not only your care for your land but for the planet - the use of reusable, non plastic items, hand tools, local vendors where possible is a great example for us all. I'm planting trees on my own newly acquired land this year.

Here in Portugal every year on Arbor Day; thousands of children with the help of teachers or other entities plant many thousands of trees! ~ usually many collaborate and the state always gives that help ...

Fifteen years ago I began planting trees in my California backyard instead of grass. My grandchildren now love climbing those mature trees as well as eating the eight different varieties of fruit. The yard looks like Paradise from early Spring through Summer.

My Great Uncle planted trees nearly every day of his retirement while roaming his property in NSW, roughly 500 acres worth before he passed. Good man, great legacy.

I have planted dozens of trees. I try to plant trees everywhere I live I use seeds .

The trees you harvest for your use is actually good for the saplings on your land! They get more sun exposure which helps with growth!

Being a Certified Arborist as my career, this is a great initiative! I've got about 40 park trees to plant before the ground freezes!

The Arbor Day Foundation is a Wonderful organization that I have donated to for years. They are Excellent Stewards of your money. Good for you Shawn!!! You couldn’t be involved with a better organization. The Arbor Day foundation sends greeting cards out to people who donate regularly so that you can send a card to friends or family letting them know that a tree is being planted in their name.
Please give what you can to help reforestation. Remember we can breathe because of the trees 🌳.💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
