Hi Neil,
Thank you for this. I'm having an issue that I can't find any answers for, hopefully you can help. I am exporting out as a sider car .SRT but when I do it doesn't export out the entire length of caption, only the first few (Stops at the same place each time). When I export as an XML all the captions are there but it imports as 480p default and so cuts them off. I don't have any in or out points selected. Any ideas? Thank you in advance!

Hi! Great video, thanks. However the option to "Exporting captions as a sidecar file from Adobe Premiere Pro" are not the same in PP 2021... can you please help? I need to export captions as separate file. Thank you!

For some reason with latest premiere pro it has options checked to embed, but exports mxf without the captions. Any suggestions?

These are really good tuts regarding captions. Just have a few questions. So my goal is to have a separate closed captions file but I want to be able to have the custom styles, like with open captions. In my export media captions settings, I don't have the option for .scc file format. I only have options for EBU 19 and Subrip srt. Any idea why? I have the export .scc option with CEA-608, but the formatting for that is ugly (no change font etc). I didn't import a captions file so I'm if that's the prob? I created the captions within Premiere as Open Captions. I'm confused because in this video I see that you have clearly custom styled your captions in a way that I can't seem to do with CEA-608. I have the latest version of Premiere CC 2020 btw. I hope all that makes sense lol

Hello! I can't get Premiere to give me the option of exporting my captions in the scc file format. I'm trying to export open captions while keeping the custom changes that I made (font size, color, etc). I need to send these captions to my editor without the captions returning back to the default style. I'm using Premiere 2020. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hmmmm, try as I might, vimeo does not recognize .srt files exported from Premiere Pro 2020. I'm going to give Rev.com a try, but it would be nice to be able to get this to work on my own. Any suggestions?

Hey. I'm having trouble exporting the .srt file. Everytime I'm exporting and add that srt file to VLC player just to see how this looks I found out that the font automatically changes and even when I'm trying to import that file the font size everything changes. What to do? Please help
