This song is so beautiful. The one line “when everything is made to be broken, I just want you to know who I am” is like a prayer to yourself. And “When everything feels like the movies, you bleed just to know you’re alive” is so poetic and real. Want to feel alive? Suffer. Struggle. Endure. That’s how you “know who you are”.

Oh my gosh. I actually found the cover I was hoping to find. This song has always been a favorite. But since losing my dad in September, the lyrics have a whole new meaning. Losing him and wanting him back, the insane rollercoaster of grief makes it feel like no one around me understands. I grew up in St George, we went to Snow Canyon for family hikes almost every Sunday. When I saw it in the background I knew I had to listen. This cover is perfection and I feel like I was meant to see it. Thank you, thank you ❤️

What an angelic and soulful voice and rendition.

I remember my three, pre-teen and teen kids singing the original song together in the back seat of our car one day. My wife and I just looked at each other and smiled.
Hearing this now after my son has passed away brings a flood of tears and a smile too.
