Shetland Wool Week has been my favorite yarn festival. First of all, it’s a whole week and second of all it’s in a lovely location.

I am glad to hear there is still a Fano festival, by another name. Wouldn't I love to go one day! When the pandemic had us locked down, I vowed to go to all the local festivals IF they came back. The next one is the Oregon Flock & Fiber Festival in the middle of October. Studio apartment is reserved, and I Can't Wait! Not expecting to buy much yarn; just eager to be in the company of knitters, spinners, weavers, and makers of all sorts.

Hello! I just found you today and am enchanted with your video of the Norby wool festival. Looks like fun. I have been to Rhinebeck many times. I started going in the 1990s and loved it. But the last time I went (about 2012) it was so very crowded that it was almost impossible to visit the booths I most wanted to see. You really have to be aggressive to push your way into most of the shops. I don't enjoy that! So now I visit the small but delightful festival at Estes Park, Colorado. It is probably too small to interest you, but all of my favorite dyers are there and there are lots of animals to enjoy. I think I would really enjoy Nordby! Such beautiful colors! Ahhh!

Var selv på Fanø hele ugen. Boede i Sønderho, så vi var det hele igennem. Der er bare hyggeligt der.
Vi havde også adgang til bazarteltet i Nordby, så der var vi også, ligesom vi også besøgte de små strikkestationer, der var i år.
Jeg kan ikke prale af, at jeg IKKE købte garn - det frister bare ……♥️
