To celebrate 50 years of Dungeons and Dragons, the Lego Company released the MOST AMAZING set I've ever seen in my life...and a few weeks ago that very kit arrived at my door.

This set includes everything you would want from a Lego D&D collab, dungeons, heroes, weapons, monsters and yes even Dragons!

But the kit has SO much more to it than what initially meets the eye... It comes with an entire D&D adventure written specifically for the piece which uncovers and reveals so many secrets and plot twists it was hard to fit it all in one video....

Either way this is my FIRST EVER LEGO VIDEO so please enjoy it and tell me what you think and if you'd like to me more lego or D&D content in the future!!

I was a Senior Designer on this LEGO set (along with two Designers and a Design Lead - normally it's only one designer but we made an adventuring party for this set). I was surprised to find out a review copy had been sent to you Louise as it didn't seem like your content to date lent itself to such a thing, but I figured (as a Rogue and a Juggz fan) it was nice one of the miniature YouTuber content creators I follow got a copy of it. I'm amazed by this video, thank you for doing such a great job of concisely laying out the plot, you even called out the small extra secrets I hid away inside the build and as always were thoroughly entertaining throughout. Brilliant. I'm glad you liked it.

I guess now I should paint up a Rascal Town goblin!

The best thing about Lego is the experience of building it and when you are finished you get to look back at how much fun you had during the process. There’s nothing better than that completion feeling

I have been building Lego sets for just about fifty-four years now, so although this Rogue video was unexpected it is SO welcome. Kudos to Lego for sending it to someone who would make such a great little production and share it, thank you so much!

A million years ago, miniatures were scarce, and I thought I would use Lego figures for my AD&D campaigns. Eventually, Warhammer 40K came out, and I was hooked. Now, there are official Lego D&D sets... Circle of life, amirite...?

Lego has been brilliant at forging alliances with various Nerd (in a good sense) pursuits. They've managed to walk that minefield of dedicated fanbases without really pissing anybody off. I think a big part of it is that they established early on that these kits were going to be fun, silly versions of the 'real thing', so it's hard to get upset about discrepancies.

Well done, Lego! Well done, Louise! This content was different, but I'm here for it. Your enthusiasm is infectious... :)

A lot of people use Lego for Dnd minis and terrain too. I imagine a few people will pick this up to actually game with.
