I was in the Marines when I was 18 and my buddy Nate had a brother in CA in a band. He said Keanu Reeves is sitting in on a jam session he wants to thank you for your service. I was thinking yeah right this is a joke. I talked to him for well over an hr to the point of it being uncomfortable for me I had never talked to a man before that long on the phone before. I never asked one question he wanted to know everything about training and about me and what I was going through. Mind you I had been in service only four months at that time and about to go to Fallujah Iraq 2003. Most thoughtful kind person I ever had the pleasure of speaking to.
