At least 45 dead in KwaZulu-Natal floods in South Africa, dozens missing

According to reports on Tuesday, at least 45 people have been killed and dozens are missing, with fears the number of casualties may be even higher.
Homes, and roads have also been swept away by floods and mudslides,… with evacuation efforts underway in disaster prone areas.
Power generation capabilities have also been compromised as locals dams filled beyond capacity, limiting hydro-electric generators.
South Africa's weather service said downpours will weaken on Wednesday, but rain will return at the weekend.
In January floods in the coastal city of East London killed 10 people and left hundreds homeless.
