I really liked how battles were portrayed in the RAID series, but they rarely go that way in game

The thing I liked most about raid is the fact that there is no music during combat scenes, just gunshots, yelling, and bullets landing, makes it feel more intense and realistic

I hope Arena dropping will begin to allow Escape to shift towards more co-op PvE focused gameplay 😅 The biggest threats while in Raid are other PMCs who also know you are threat. Imagine what it would be like if everyone surviving was a highly rewarded priority.

I really really hope they implement blackfox or however the thrord party group in the last episode is called as a sort of permanent random
Event on most maps (bar maybe woods cause there is nothing there that would make sense) woth a group of them spawning in sometimes and more or less acting as a moving boss squad aggressive to all other parties.

It would be glorious if they would for example cut the lights on map where that can be done and maybe some where only they can do it (wothout animation obv) and then going to some objective they have clear the way in and leave. All in best gear possible and thus making it extremely high risk and reward for any players to kill them all. Stuff like that might actually mitovate random pmc groups talking to each other when the lights go out. They‘d have to fix the AI obviously, so you can‘t as easily cheese them, but just picture it …

I doubt we’ll ever get anything more than the trader menus we currently have now. Nikita already said it’s impossible for him to join the maps without loading screens and that idea has been scrapped, I feel like most of the ingame traders will be scrapped as well. Lightkeeper can’t even really be called a trader at this point. Just an in raid NPC less than 5% of the playerbase will ever be able to reach.

There needs to be some sort of suppression mechanics like squad if we want gunfights to play out more like the raid series does, right now getting shot at IS scary as fuck but most of the time there’s not a whole lot stopping me from swinging a corner and just spraying somebody down, or if people are shooting at each other it’s generally clean aim duels, assuming no desync or other treachery

I do like the series .. feeling of chaos and desperation.. it opened the doors for Tarkov in a big way .. personally I got a feel for what it's all about... I watched before I bought it ..
When I played it back... I felt that Raid was a really good adaptation.. and the cinematic value of EFT is pretty huge ...

The raid series was sick, great concept until you realize everybody you've been watching dies slowly but one by one. You really Start rooting for the BEARs then see that it was literally for nothing. You watch what happens on the losing side of the battle in the raid series. Lol
