My Uncle was a driver for U.S military he told stories about it. We thought he was lying ...now I believe him. In our Res. You could hear them howling around the Gila River. It's infested around the River.

Fun fact...Vietnam has actually created a National Park in and around the area where the Rock Apes were reported. (Its a specific set of hills, and the area around them)

People have been prohibited from going inside the national park since it was created

- The Rock Apes didn't stalk or attack troops, the wsy most people would think.

They would however hurl these massive rocks in the general direction of troops from both sides - actually causing injuries serious enough to be well documented.

(I think they just wanted humans & their war to f**k off and take their drama elsewhere...my own 2 cents anyway)

One of my favorite stories my dad told me was of how they would "play" with the rock apes in Vietnam. And no soldier was allowed to shoot at them.
