I remember a video of a weapon storage discovered by Wagner in Bakhmut, containing hundreds of crated with the old classic Thompson SMGs. So I'd assume there should be a chance of finding one in Tarkov setting.

The Thompson is not as outlandish as you'd think. There were quite a few lend-lease Thompsons sent to the USSR, some even with the drum. A few other potential weapons would be the Kar98k (many were captured during the war) and the MP-40. These weren't even super common in the German military, so not as many were captured and it would have to be a fairly rare gun, though. Also, if they added the MP-40 then they would add mags for it (duh) and potentially the PPSH 9x19 mp-40 magazine adapter. Can you imagine a PPSH firing AP-6.3 or RIP at you? Even just 32 rounds would tear you up.

The Thomson SMG actually would not be outlandish, Russia has a shit ton of them in storage from the lend lease, so seeing them make their way to Tarkov would be quite plausible.

The Galil ARM and it's other variants (ACE, AR, SRM) in 5.56 and .308 would do nicely in game, such an iconic weapon I was hoping to be added for years now.

All the different proposals for gun around the world cool and all but i believe EFT deserves some handmade weapons (slamfire shotguns, pipe bombs, molotovs, Luty style SMGs or even 3D printed guns) especially in Scav hands

If they added more WWII/Surplus weapons, having stuff like the PPS43 would be a nice addition, maybe even some German weapons like an MP40 even if it is strange, it's not uncommon

The pp19 bizon would be a nice good addition, especially with the Makarov caliber, to leg meta chads in the extract with a drum mag, instead of a Kedr
