Minions: How to make a minion model using gum paste or fimo despicable me minions

How to make a fimo minion / gum paste minion.
In the minion model tutorial I show you how to make a model of a minion using flower and modelling paste / gum paste, however you could just as easily use fimo / polymer clay / sculpey to make your minion model if you do not want it to be edible. I made my minion cake topper out of modelling paste so that it can be used as an edible cake topper model. With the new Minions film being released I decided now is a good time to make a minion model tutorial too :) Although most of us know minions back from when despicable me first came out.

I forgot to add the tiny button to the minions dungarees at the end, so just use a small ball of black fondant flattened down to stick where the dungarees join with the straps. Sorry for the confusion.

Hello Zoe, I have noticed that in most of these tutorials, they dont say how mush clay, fondant ect to use, and Im not sure how much to use. It's deceiving on the screen just how much you may have, could you please give an approx ammount that you are using, eg walnut size, pea size, tennis ball. I appreciate it thanks.
