OPEN LABS at Science Gallery Dublin

In just 3 minutes, we have tried to capture the OPEN LABS exhibition at Science Gallery Dublin in this video. It was no easy task to present the amazing work of the four international labs featured - Public Labs (US), Hackers and Designers (NI), Bio Art Society (FI) and (ART) Science BLR (IN).

Each lab showcased work from communities of artists, researchers and activists inspired by political convictions, personal obsessions, or just a sense of fun and wonder. Exhibits vary from DIY aerial mapping tools, ezine publishing, to creating portraits from yeast or growing the perfect Christmas tree in micro gravity.

Visitors were also invited to be part of the process. Hack their own OPEN LABS poster, participate in one of the many events and be part of the growing DIY community.
