◆Train Watching◆ E8 series TSUBASA at Ueno Station, Tokyo, Japan, February 2025. The new Yamagata Shinkansen E8 series debuted on March 2024. E8 series is coupled with E5 series. The operating speed of the E8 series between Utsunomiya Station and Fukushima Station is increased to a maximum of 300km/h. JR East has announced that all Tsubasa trains will run on the E8 series from spring 2026. There is only one year left until the E3 series Tsubasa retires.
