Hearing the jokes about how all finance bros dress the same didn’t quite hit me until I went to a rooftop bar in mid-Manhattan and EVERY MAN was dressed the same right down to the navy Patagonia vest…I was embarrassed for them. So loud in there too but I could just tell they were all having the same conversation about the same thing 💀

I was a bartender in the West Village for four years and saw this nightcap situation play out every night—same regular guys with different girls, over and over again—and they all lived in the apartments upstairs or down the street from the bar.

I dated a finance guy one time—thinking it would be different 😂😂😂 NOPE.

I’m sure there are some nice finance guys out there but I never met any of them. When you work in a bar you get to see how people really are—they don’t care what you think so you get to see a side they hide.
