You guys should make a playlist! Looking forward to how this series develops. Maybe one day you could feature some more modern famous mathematicians like Gauß or Euler and their impact on their field of studies?

How would they say a number in conversation? e.g. 357

Would they say it as a single word using the alphabetical sounds, or would they list the letters?

Question:
How did the Pythagoras theorem looked like when he first created it? I'm pretty sure he did not used latin letters and arabic numbers :D

Your historic data are inaccurate. Greeks gave mathematics to Egyptians and Phoenicians never had an alphabet so it is impossible that Greeks took letters from Phoenicians. Archeologists never found any script written in Phoenician except for some tablets with simple numbers made by merchants and not scolars. Distortion of Greek history is a thing these days... Also, mathematics was known to Greeks many centuries before the birth of Thales the Milesian.

She sounds like she's reading a script, but not interested in the material.

I need to understand how to read the Greek mathematics. Professor teaches everything in excel, which doesn't use Greek. Test is written in Greek, however. No English. No normal writing. All Greek letters and such.

Modern Greeks don't seem to get them! You see some goe to the highest levels in education and still don't get them! You can be giving them examples over and over for many years and still don't get them!
