Is it only the NES games in NTSC versions who have these batteries in them? I have never seen any PAL NES games with functions for saving the game yet as I have opened who had these batteries in them.

I hate how difficult they make this stuff. I applied solder and resin and it still wont pop off. I even used copper (it stings if you hold the copper lol).

I'm not applying too much soldering iron to the connectors because batteries get set on fire if it's too hot, but it seems like I have little recourse.

Gameboy batteries are so much easier to desolder, though you shouldn't have to do that at all when so many devices exist that run on 2032 without soldering being needed.
