Thought this audio would go perfect with Frecklewish seeing how her situation is she somehow in the Dark Forest. So I made this to were she is like on trial with Starclan and is scared and confused about why she is where she is at now. Cause dang did our girl get treated badly.

Funny how Oakstar her own father is in Starclan along with her brother Birchface Meanwhile, she’s in the dark forest. that is ridiculous. I don’t know what the writing team was thinking when they made this choice.

i don’t know exactly how you intended for it to be interpreted, BUT..
watching this. imagining that as frecklewish is being questioned about how she recalls all these events, it’s possibly *not* a true starclan cat, but somehow mapleshade playing a cruel trick on her? only for it to then be maple who freckle is speaking to at the end.
telling her what she honestly needed to hear about the kits’ deaths— and really, what they both needed to hear about it.

This is beautiful, I love the animation and the characters' expressions and... really, good job!
And honestly, this would be a far better and more sensed scenario than Starclan telling her she was "careless" with the kits lives and deserved the Dark Forest for that.

We know that Starclan is full of enough hypocrites to cast away for real a wasted occasion (Frecklewish is a wasted occasion to show on pages PTSD from seeing her brother die in the water as well and how it works. To freeze on the spot, not being able to move, seeing *that* scene again and again... it's one true horror that can be really good if well written. I don't even like Frecklewish, but I have to recognize that others deserve the Dark Forest more than her) and cats that didn't even do that much in life while letting in abusive monsters and cats that broke important rules of the Code out of personal grudge or ""accidents"", but even if Starclan casting her in the DF is the most realistic way, Frecklewish *choosing* to go there out of pure guilt for not doing anything would be not only as realistic, but much more poetic and an interesting outcome that could give some ideas for some special editions.

Bro, this is so accurate, especially the last bit (0:22), which I agree on. FreckleWish did *not* deserve the Dark Forest, and she didn't deserve to be blamed for the kits' death either. Tbf, the book didn't confirm much of FreckleWish's POV on what happened to MapleShade and her kits, so any conclusion one comes to should be taken with a grain of salt.
P.S. I'm in denial that FreckleWish resides in the Dark Forest, and I can think whatever I want bc this is fiction.

Frecklewish definitely didn’t deserve to go to the dark forest. She was very wrong to take out her anger on the helpless babies though— calling them half-clan creatures right in front of their mother and their faces was a low blow. I think there needs to be a, kind of a limbo for cats that weren’t good but weren’t bad enough to be sent to the df. Juniperclaw, for example, should’ve been given a chance to think about and regret his actions. I’m not saying Frecklewish should go there either, she definitely deserved StarClan, but I think the dark forest needs new lore asap.

I haven't read Mapleshade or Frecklewish's stories yet, but with the knowledge that the Erins only sent her there because she was mad at Mapleshade for lying to her I absolutely hate the Erins. She did not deserve it.

Even as a firm freckle hater this is well done. I do wish people would realize she isn't an owo she's a bad person. Like every other adult in the book. That's the point of the whole book. The problem is nobody else like oakstar and ravenwing didnt.

I'm one of the ppl who don't think that she went the the dark forest because it's not directly stated that she does or doesn't go to either the only place you find that she went to the dark forest is the wiki and it's not always accurate

Honestly isn't the blame she puts on herself punishment enough, now you trap here in a place of horror and terror WITH her murderer?! She deserves starclan. And the reasons she was put in the dark forest...there are plenty of starclan cats who've done way worse, including her own father who COULD have banished Mapleshade and kept the kits if she really HAD to go. But he broke the code by turning down kits. And don't pull the "he was a leader" line I've heard that. If leaders don't go to the dark forest then explain brokenstar and tigerstar
