DIY | GIANT TISSUE PAPER FLOWERS

I wanted to put a descriptive and easy video on how to make these giant tissue paper flowers. Since I struggled to find one with measurements. I figured out the measurements for you so you don't have to. Excuse the quality but I just got too excited and wanted to produce a video quickly.

Big Flower Size 15" | Tissue paper size 16.5" x 24"

Petal Size sheets:
4 Sheets 16.5" x 24"
Center Fringe Sheet size:
2 Sheets 8.25" x 24"
Fold at 2" for accordion fold.

Smaller Flower Size 13" | Tissue paper size 14.5" x 22"

Petal Size sheets:
4 Sheets 14.5" x 22"
Center Fringe Sheet size:
2 Sheets 7.25" x 22"
Fold at 1.75" for accordion fold.

* You can increment the flower to be bigger or smaller by just adding 2 inches or subtracting two inches down to the sizes I have. If you go smaller you may have to decrease the amount of sheets you use because it will be harder to pull the tissue paper up when fluffing the flower.

Tissue Paper $1.25 for 8ct. @ Target all of them are sized to 16.5 x 24

If you buy tissue paper at Dollar Tree it will be 20" x 20" . It wont work unless the tissue paper is cut into a rectangular shape but the flower will be smaller. I had to glue stick some together.

You can buy the string at Dollar Tree Store or you can use any type of string that is laying around at home. It wont matter since it wont be seen.

I think this one is easier to make than the paper flowers. I will be making DIY backdrop for our wedding this oct. Can i make these in advance and still maintain its shape?

If we need to reduce by 2 inches the size of petals we decrease also the middle sheets in 2 inches?

Which type of paper 📃 u have used here...?...is it crep paper
