Was there, just in front of Ed. It hurts to admit it for a Radiohead hardcore fan, but that was litteraly the best live moment of my entire life. The entire room melted in 2 seconds. And that's very funny because i think that nowadays, the audience in RH concerts are long time fans who rarely consider Creep like one of the band's best tune. But still, when they play it after a 7 years break, everyone is 17 again. It's magical. What a band.

This guy has aged quite gracefully. He almost looks better now than when he was young.

A+ for the audience on the chorus. That was amazing. Everyone was feeling it.

There is ALOT of history behind this specific performance of Creep in Paris:
The band hated playing Creep, because they felt like it limited their creativity and what people accepted them for. So for years, they just refused to perform Creep live.
Two days before this very performance, Radiohead was playing in Amsterdam, and some random kid was yelling "Creep!" in the crowd. Normally ignored, in this case, the guitarist started playing a few chords of the infamous song, rousing up the audience.
More importantly, it lit a fire in the lead singer, who hated the song the most (because it was about him).
So imagine if you will, years of Radiohead fans just understanding that when you attend a Radiohead concert, you won't hear Creep played. However on this night, one seemingly no different than others, something just clicked, and they decided to finally embrace this legend of a song again.

THIS is part of why the audience was so damn receptive to it being played. Not necessarily because they're just such big fans, but because they're part of a special moment and they KNEW IT.

"Whatever makes you happy
Whatever you want"
I think this is why they played this

So many people whining in the comments about the audience. The audience isn't there so you can enjoy a fucking video of the concert in your bedrooms. Imagine the excitement of the crowd when the first notes of the songs were played! Especially Creep: a song they haven't performed in seven years! I would be singing my arse off! The crowd is part of what makes concerts so magical.

Meanwhile from the French crowd: "I'm a Crêpe"

The feeling of everyone singing along is the biggest drug there is.

Thom is probably mad how much applause that song got.

I get why they hate (or did hate) that song. But they have to realize how important of a song it was for so many people. And in my opinion it is one of the greatest songs of its era. So, to see it again live from them is awesome.

Actually guys I think you're a bit mistaken here. Thom's does not look irritated by the fans' reaction and singing at the end. He looks happy and... touched - as emotional inside as we could ever see Mr Yorke get:D After all these years, thousands of people are still singing their hearts out with him, knowing every single word of the lyrics about something he wanted to forget about... But while singing the bridge with the crowd it doesn't seem to matter. What an amazing gig.

The crowd is spectacular... I would give one of my balls to be able to be in a moment like that... I've listened to this song thousands of times, and still tears of joy stream from my eyes so often when I listen to it again...

1:12 Thom sings "I'm a weirdo" and then continues to point at Jonny going ham on his guitar.

FYI, they never play this live that's why the fans were freaking out.

Imagine performing a song you wrote about being a stalker for months to this girl you thought was an angel at Uni, and the one time you spoke to her was being drunk and she thought you were a creep to then being 47 and married and performing this song again, surreal.

Sounds like everyone was orgasming when they realized it was Creep and Jonny looks like he doesn't belong there. xD
And damn, Thom's voice might have aged but he still has the range. His smile at the end got me too. So hard to not smile when he does.

I like that he forgets the lyrics at 3:20 and is just super chill about it; casually goes "what does it say?" Hahaha.. Great performance!!
