euronymous riffs are more catchy for me to headbang, but varg's are atmospheric and more chill for body

Euronymus riffs were more aggressive and more headbanging however I find something magic in Varg's work, the atmosphere it's dark, sad, but at the same time is so chilling

Varg’s riffs have a deeper, more developed sense of melody. Mayhem riffs are classics in the black metal realm but Burzum was operating on another level, imo.

I like euro but Varg has some killer riffs. They really stab into you and never let go.

They played different style of Black metal i think. Varg's style is more melodic and dark but Euronymous' style is more evil and demonic.

The vibe in Ea, Lord of the Depths never seizes to amaze me. The most simple riff yet so affective and with massive amounts of atmosphere.

I don't agree with Varg's views and some of the things he's done, but I will never deny how legendary of a guitarist he is
