Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh killed in Iran

The political leader of Hamas Ismail Haniyeh has been assassinated in Tehran.

Iran's Revolutionary Guards says he was killed at his residence in the Iranian capital, and the cause of his death is under investigation.

Hamas had said Haniyeh was killed alongside one of his bodyguards.
