I couldn't make a series about music theory without talking a little about rhythm. So there will be 3 episodes about rhythm. In this first one we'll see how we divide time and we'll see all the types of notes we can use to build our rhythms.
I hope you enjoy this episode.
take care and see you soon.

I play to drums too.lol
it only made sense after I had confident in my own playing..i had funkie rhythm or experiment with different picking patterns ( finger picking ..ect)...sometimes
a song has a mind of it's own or I have to combine different picking patterns
for phrasing...ect. ( sort of like the same concept as modulating with modes,
inserting diminished chords between the intervals..ect)
It dosnt all fit under 4/4 or 3/4....that's where the odd ball time signature will
come into play....

It's sort of like playing ghost notes or flemming on the drums...
If you where to try to count all the flemming notes...it would drive you nuts.
it's sort of like dribbling a basket ball...the sticks bounce from the drum's pad
back to you hand then bounce back to the pad..ect...
Then there's SWING and DYMANIC...some notes are louder. Others are softer.
It happens fast in real im you were to play it at a slow tempo
it's different or harder...becuase you have to hit the drum;s pad harder or different..
hope that makes sense.
