Upchurch is the light that people need in 2023, I consider myself blessed for having discovered his music 4 years ago. Dude doesn't make a bad song! You can tell he puts heart and soul into every project he does. Upchurch is the reason i wanted to visit Tennessee and when the opportunity came to go i absolutely did. Its a beautiful country out there! Me and a home boy smoked a joint on the side of a mountain and looked up at the stars. For a brief period of time, i felt absolutely free. No worries and concerns. Drove from Missouri to Tennessee to pick up a vintage boat.

So a little back story on this. Its like 12:30 am and Im hanging out with my home boy and he says my dad is working at Watts Bar nuclear facility and he will be there for six months. Then he says my dad bought a boat and he wants me to come haul it back to Missouri. He mentions that its in Tennessee I said WHAT?!? I Proceeded to say lets leave right now, ill drive the first leg so you can sleep. He agrees and we hit the road at around 1 am i drove straight through to Nashville only stopping for gas. We were only in Tennessee for about 24 hours because we both had to be back in missouri by thursday and we left on tuesday. The trip home was crazy as fuck. We drove a lexus suv with front wheel drive and hauled a 20 footer back to Missouri. Talk about white knuckle! It rained and stormed its ass off when we finally hooked up the boat. Driving through mountains, down huge slopes' stuck in nashville traffic for 2 and a half hours. Getting out of Tennessee took longer than getting into Tennessee. It was a crazy trip and so glad me and my buddy got to have this crazy experience together. Theres other artists that are from Tennessee but none of them made me want to visit more than Ryan.
