Here's a throwback clip from my time in Tony MacAlpine's band, playing one of my all-time favorite songs - "The King's Cup". On this tune, I do my best to pay homage to Jeff Watson by playing his famous guest solos verbatim. On bass is Bjorn Englen and on drums - Aquiles Priester. I used to have such a blast playing this song live, so I hope you enjoy the video!

I've had the pleasure and awesome privilege to literally sit less than three feet away from tony MacAlpine, and watching the rest of the band as well a few times, more notably in San Pedro, Ca at Alvas Music, twice. The second time, Herman Li, and Allan Holdsworth..
But Nili is ALWAYS on Fire! Saw them play in Redondo Beach, too @ Saint Rocke, too. I remember a quick hello n chat with Nili on her playing, and how she mentioned that learning George Lynch'e lick from one of the songs on Maximum Security was a..challenging, lol..

I loved the duets on this album with Jeff Watson and George Lynch. This song, in particular, my favorite part is during the solos when it goes to Eminor. The melodies that Jeff and Tony laid down were outstanding and complemented each other perfectly.

Nili really brings out the original sound of the Maximum security album and somehow brings the original MacAlpine sound out of Tony. A lot of great guitarists cant achieve smooth sounding lead harmonies like this. I love this album.

Excellent! There aren't many people with the cojones to get up and stand toe to toe with Tony MacAlpine, but you did and bossed it! Total respect!!
