This is Shotts and Dykehead Caledonia Pipe Band performing its Medley in the Grade One Competition at the 25th Anniversary North Berwick Games held on 6 August 2022.Shotts and Dykehead were placed second in the Grade One Medley competition and first place in the Grade One March Strathspey and Reel competition,

The medley comprises:

Tom Wilson, Munlochy Bridge, Ardanachan, Neil Angus MacDonald, The Hawk, The Balinderry Air, The Gypsy's Dance, Bova's

The band went through both RSPB's Medley Championships without having this medley chosen from the two prepared, so it's great to document it here.

I love the flourishing by the tenor drummers in this performance, especially during The Hawk - so expressive.

Tom Wilson was an absolute gentleman
Was proud to play the tune when Tom first composed it back in the 1980s

Love this! Maybe a repeat of 2015!? PM Conroy has the bagpipes singing!

"Tom Wilson" was composed by Shotts' Tom McAllister, Jr., I believe. SFU played it as their opener when they first won the World's in 1995

It's a medley, not a MSR...
Thank you for your outstanding job bringing us the best live performances

Hmmm...not sure if I dislike it or love it. That closer was a mic drop
