Hey Guys, as promised here is my review of the *Ninth Episode of Marvel's Runaways*
So I was binge watching LOST last night *JACOB STUCK WITH ME INSTEAD OF JONAH.* Apologize for that.
One other thing when I speak of not using the term *MUTANT what I am saying here is MUTANT IN THE COMIC BOOK SENSE, * FOX is entitled to the title for the characters and not the English Word. Didn't think I had to spell that out!!!
So *MUTANT FUNGUS* has nothing to do with that.
Let me know what you thought of the episode and if you still think that whole time machine stuff is about a tie-in with AoS. It is still a possibility but it might now as well.

I have a very far-fetched theory about how Runaways _might_ tie-in to Agents of SHIELD and I feel like it's worth sharing, even if it's mostly nonsense XD

We know from Molly's parents that Pride's drill is capable of producing earthquake-level seismic waves that could potentially destroy the entire city, as seen in Victor's time machine.
We also know of Quake, who is capable of manipulating vibrations on grand scales.
We also know that the strange rock that Molly's parents were examining is capable of making humans gain super-strength.

If we think about what Deke has said in AoS, that Quake ends up destroying the planet in his timeline, with the scale of Quake's powers, currently, she doesn't yet have the ability to demolish the whole of Earth, but with a boost in strength supplied by the rock she could hypothetically come into contact with, she could quite plausibly tear the planet apart with immense seismic vibrations.

My idea of how she comes into the Runaways is that the first earthquakes get produced by the drill, which SHIELD/Quake detects, so Quake is sent to use her power to minimise the damage cased by deflecting the seismic vibrations. However, coming into contact with the strange rock, she gets an unexpected boost in her powers and they end up going out of control, destroying the planet with chaotic seismic activity.

Like I said, far-fetched, but if it were to happen, I'd love to see it XD

Stan Lee had a good bit on AoS back in season 1 episode 13. The poster on the wall is lame of netflix, but not as lame as Danny Rand. Jacob went on to play Lucifer on Supernatural. so are you trying to tell us that Jonah is Lucifer ? nope, but he might be Victor Von Doom in another life. (or alternate universe)

Did you miss the part where “mutant” was said on Runaways? Go back and watch this episode you’re reviewing....the word is used in Context with Molly, I I’m assuming this episode, episode 9, was filmed with knowledge of the Disney/Marvel/Fox merger in mind.

and im hoping when next season comes out the deal with fox went through and they could call molly a mutant
and that showdown was freaking awesome and i loved the reactions on everyone's faces when karolina went full alien
also im wondering if her dad is being controlled along with rest of pride by jonah cause tina has a powerful staff that she could use against him, and alex's dad is a powerful ex gangster so i dont understand why they just dont stand against him

I disagree Alex/Nico is more true to the comics than Karolina/Nico. After all, in the comics Alex/Nico is [spoilers]




ended by the first run. Meanwhile, in the newest issues there are some pretty big hints that Nico regrets never getting with Karolina. I think the show could do a lot of justice to the comics and fans by pushing the envelope on that one. Obviously, the show does not have a decade to string fans along and things are going to have to move a lot faster in the TV adaptation.
