I think it would be a fairer comparison if you choose the Cort KX507 instead. That guitar is also equipped with Fishman Fluence pickups.

the cort sounded cleaner.. which isn't a bad thing. that RGD shredded that tone well tho

I would imagine you could make the cort sound closer to the ibanez by turning up the gain a bit since the ibanez is using Fishmann pickups which are higher output.

Got the ibanez and it has its flaws especially with the finish. but considering all the features packed in, it’s a lot of a guitar for the price. Love it to bits.

Is the implication here that you might as well get the Cort for less? Is there a significant difference in the shape of the neck or the pickups? Cheers. Very confused, trying to research a decent 7-string to purchase but no idea where to start

Hey how thick/deep are these kind of pickups supposed to be/goes into the guitar body. Mine 7 string came with pickups that look same type but are very oddly way deeper in thickness than ive ever seen of any pickups before. Why would it be like this?
