Hi. Thank you for the video, I really enjoy the way you explain things!
One question, will it be OK, insteasd of adding a Library as a web part, to add a quick link to the Library instead? I am creating a big library, but instead of just adding a lot of folders and sub folders, i thought i could use differnt pages and quick links to make it a bit more visual, and easy to access and then metadata to group views within the libraries, but since i don't know much about SharePoint I was wondering if it is the right aproach or if there is another way to do it? thank you

Thank you! I have created the views I want and set one to default, but when I click on the document library in the navigation panel it doesn't give me the default view, it goes back to All Documents view. Any advice?

Is there an easy way to surface a List from another site? It looks like adding the "List" webpart only gives you options of a list on the site, not an option to show data from a List in another site (assuming that other List has permissions to the appropriate audience, that's already done). Any other recommendations on how to do this? Thanks!

Hello, I would like a list of all my sites' document libraries on the home page - can you advise how I would achieve this?

Can you give the user the ability to switch views while staying on the page without clicking the list or going into the web part settings? Using sp 2013

Thanks for this nice video. My goal is to have a list with different views accessible or not depending on the person. I can therefore create web pages (for which I manage access) with an asscociated view. For that I check "hide command bar" so that there is always the same view on the page. But this prevents item creation. So my question is, how can I manage access to the views of a list (or a page) while allowing item creation by any user?

Thank you, is there a way to hide the toggle button so user can’t edit anything if they click on an item in the webpart?

Hi Sir, is there any possibility to hide the 'Switch View Options' in the ribbon area? E.g, there are 2 views. One view for All Issues which are the Admins can only access and one view for My Issues which are the Employees can add their issues. Given that you provide them the specific link for My Issues, but what if the employee knows how to navigate the site/list? and it happens that he/she can access some private content.

I only need to display the total number of items in a view on a page.
Example
" new employees joined in December 99"
