Auto shop manager admitted to stealing tires, deleting work orders, and giving away an engine worth $25,520. She claimed a man named "Ceejay" convinced her to work "under the table" by offering $50 per tire, with text messages showing they planned to take items without getting caught.

Must be great to have her as a mom. Every time she tries to discipline them they can say “you stole $100, 000”

Her fault for stealing. The stores fault for letting it become 90k.

“It was 2PM on a Tuesday, and the officers were dispatched to a tire shop regarding a defrauding investigation. These are the events that followed….”

Telling the cops so much validates her stupidity

Her manager should be relieved of his duties as well. This went on too long.

That Pep Boys store is a FOOL if a $25k part (engine) vanished from inventory WITHOUT a paper trail!

You have to be a complete idiot to think she could get away with all that!🤡😄😄

I think Pep Boys needs to tighten up some of their auditing procedures. It took a year and almost $100K for her to get caught. She sure didn't seem to be overly concerned that finding another job is going to be a bit challenging for the rest of her life. _"And why did you leave Pep Boys?"_ _"Uh..."_

They only noticed it when already 100k worth of stuff was stolen?
Meanwhile at Starbucks, every single coffee bean is in the computer, and if the numbers don't add up, you will be gone in less than a day.

Did she not think she would be fired? She didn't seem too concerned about being arrested, either.

As someone who worked for the retail part of the company, it doesnt surprise me. I have witness MANY service managers doing stuff like this and the company most of the time does nothing about it

I worked at a restaurant and the manager took over 100k. It was over a long period of time and was being investigated almost the whole time he was defrauding. Crazy because he seemed to be an honest guy on the outside

Getting arrested at work in your work clothes has got to be one of the most embarrassing things someone can experience.
