The Regency Cafe - best breakfast in London!

I don't usually cover food on this channel, but this cafe is one of my favourite places in London and has such a long and interesting history, I wanted to make a video about it and spread the word! If you're in the Westminster area, I strongly recommend you pop in for (IMHO) the best full English breakfast you can get, well, anywhere really.

Was here just last week bc I stayed around the corner & owner recommended it - as an American, I usually dislike British food, but this place is by far the best food I’ve eaten ANYWHERE in Oxford or London !
I got the eggs Benedict, once a rice pudding, etc . I didnt realize the man serving me was the owner - really nice guy )
I’ve read there was a rash of bad online reviews so ignore those- no one is “ rude “ they simply have a HUGE SIGN that says “ order BEFORE sitting down” ( the line is out the door so it made perfect since they don’t want people taking up space thinking of ordering etc !no one waits on you here you go thru the line, order, pay and then pick it up yourself AS it’s called )
There a girl mopping and clearing tables constantly to keep up w the crowds - I’m not sure how anyone can honestly say the staff were RUDE ?!! when there’s zero waitresses?! Serve yourself ( I loved every minute of it )

I’ve talked about the Regency before, on You Tube. If its lunch, always the steak pie, but lunch time is just manic, and on a Friday, well. I used to work at NSY in Victoria Street, so very local. But now if I am in the area, and the time is right I make a beeline. Tourists, they can go back home and say, the Regency is not a London Tourist trap, all round good food reasonably priced, service and staff, are first rate, you could not ask for more. Just a heads up, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Palace of Westminster, Horse Guards are close by. Avoid that fast food rubbish and treat yourself, cant be beat.

i am sorry but it was the worst experience in London.The staff was rude..I think they dont want families with children or sth.
