That was a good one guy. Something I’ve realised myself on why I’m drawn to certain things like mountaineering or rock climbing and being alone in nature is the realization that we are all eternally lost and the only one who can find us is ourselves, and the only way you can find yourself is to go away, alone, with yourself. You must silence the outside distractions because you have to listen to the silence in order to here the call of yourself. The only time we are found is in the afterlife. even once you’ve found yourself you’ll be lost in a week or a month or a year or a decade but our souls eternally wonder looking for the promised land and we can find it but we can only find it alone and temporarily before we must look for it again. this is the curse of consciousness
