Hi Sam. The Dynamic Support cage (alright, I might've called it "system" instead of cage. Can you forgive me?) is indeed made for stability in the boot. It's designed to keep your foot as firmly on the soleplate as possible while changing direction, while also creating stability to the upper.

Well, let me put it this way - the right amount of grip matters. I don't want too much grip when I'm turning, and don't want too little when I'm accelerating. I want an aggressive grip when pushing off, as a better grip gives me better feeling that I'm grounded and won't slip, thus allowing me to push off harder. I like that in a boot, and the Vapors are better for that IMO :)

There is no such thing as 'the right boot for your position'. Finding a pair of football boots is all about your own personal preferences. Some people like lightweight boots, others find protection the most important factor.

Whatever boots you decide to go for, the most important thing is that YOU feel comfortable playing football with them :)

if the vapors had off center lacing then it would be amazing for striking but then again center lacing is best for touches both instep and outstep
